How to use Resize Image
Change image pixel dimensions while protecting the original proportions of JPG, PNG, or WebP images.
- Choose an image up to 15 MB.
- Enter the required width or height. The other dimension updates automatically to preserve the original proportions.
- Resize and download the result; check its dimensions before using it.
Worked example
A 2400 × 1600 image resized to 1200 pixels wide with aspect ratio locked becomes 1200 × 800.
Limits and things to check
Output dimensions are limited to 10,000 pixels per side. Enlarging does not recover missing detail. Browser memory can limit large images even when the file is below the upload limit.
How is resizing different from cropping?
Resizing changes the dimensions of the whole image. Cropping removes part of the image. Crop first if you need a different composition, then resize for the final destination.
